Some of you have noticed the bulldozers clearing land on the north side of 15th St. between Custer & Alma & just east of Rio Grande Dr. The Highland Oaks Church of Christ was located there & has sold their land to Gehan Homes. Gehan Homes will be building single family owner occupied homes on 8000 sq ft. lots. The development stretches from 15th St. to the southern edge of Hackberry Park. Gehan Homes has not yet set their home prices.
Speaking of bulldozers, you may have noticed the survey crew at the northwest corner of Plano Parkway and Independence. This is the Megatel town home development that was approved last February by the Plano City Council. There will be approximately 150 three bedroom, two car garage, owner occupied single family town homes ranging in size from 1950 to 2350 square feet. Home prices are estimated to be $340,000.
