DNEHOA Meeting with Rosewood Representatives

PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Happy Summer to all!

We will be having a DNE HOA meeting with ROSEWOOD REPRESENTATIVES who will update our neighborhood about the new Rosewood Heritage Creekside development on:

THURSDAY, JUNE 29, 2017

PLANO, TX  75075

These are some of the many exciting things happening within the Rosewood Heritage Creekside development!

  • Cambridge Homes has begun building the first of many single-family homes.
  • 2 new restaurants have been announced-more will be coming!
  • The area where the restaurants will be located is being graded.
  • The pedestrian bridge for the creek is built and is awaiting installation.
  • As well as many other things!

Rosewood Representatives will have all the information on the progress of the development and will answer any questions you may have about the project.

President’s Message and Annual Meeting

I hope all of you are enjoying our pleasant weather!

Our Annual Dallas North Estates HOA meeting will be held on:

If you wish to run for an office, please send me an email with your name and address. The incumbents are, Robert A. Miller (me), Bill Fell, Roberta Clark, Annette Swaggerty and Will Alt. The incumbents do not need to send me any information, as I already have it.

  1. Presentation on the City of Plano Bond Referendum

Director of Budget and Research for the City of Plano

Ms. Rhodes-Whitley will be at our meeting to discuss the City of Plano Bond referendum that will be on the ballot in the upcoming City of Plano election.

Plano City elections will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017, with early voting beginning on Monday, April 24. Collin County has vote centers, so you may go to any vote center in Collin County to cast your vote. The closest neighborhood early voting vote center will be located at the Plano ISD Administration Building on 15th Street. On election day the closest neighborhood vote center will be located at Wilson Middle School.

Your ballot will contain the names of those running for:

Plano City Council, Places 2, 4, 6 and 8
Plano Independent School Trustees, Places 1, 2, 3 and 6
Collin College Trustees, Places 1, 2, 3 and 5
and
City of Plano Bonds
Collin College Bond.

If you would like information about the candidates running, I highly recommend that you go to www.vote411.org for information on all the races. This site is run by the League of Women Voters.

2016 Annual Meeting Update

Annual Meeting logo for information.It was great to see everyone at the meeting last week.  55 people attended.  There we more who may not have signed in.

Our current board was re-elected for another term.  Annette Swaggerty will be taking over for our departing Treasurer, Lisa Bloomfield.  A new mailing address for dues will be posted and we will update this site when it is available.

Mr. Bill Flaherty from Rosewood presented an update on their project, Heritage Creekside. The single family homes will be build by Green Brick and ground breaking will occur (hopefully in the next 30 days) as soon as they receive the final plat approval from the city.  Units will start at $300,000 for town homes and $400,000 for patio homes.

No specific information is available about who, what or when will be in place for restaurants but they are in talks with some.

A meeting with the Westwood group of homeowners will take place soon.  More information coming.

DNE 2016 Annual Meeting

Happy Late Winter! I hope all of you had very Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year!

We will be having our DNE HOA Annual Meeting on:

Thursday, February 18, 2016

7:00 P.M.

Messiah Lutheran Church (in the Administration Building)
1801 West Plano Parkway 75075

The meeting will be for electing officers and there will be an update from Rosewood Properties on the Heritage Creekside development, including the status of what is currently under construction and the soon to start construction of the single family homes. The discussion will also include creek improvements that are in the planning stage and the Westwood intersection.

There will also be updates on the 1 to 2 story office buildings being constructed on the Northwest corner of Alma and Plano Parkway, the Northeast corner of Westwood and Plano Parkway and the Southeast corner of Independence and Plano Parkway as well as the town homes on the Northwest corner of Independence and Plano Parkway.

Crime Watch will also be discussed.

Rescheduled Association Meeting

The rescheduled association meeting and revised presentation from Rosewood will be Monday, September 29, 2014 at 6:30 p.m.  Rosewood will make their presentation at 7:30 at the conclusion of the meeting.

We will be electing board members and officers so please show up and volunteer.

Updates will be made to the Events Page.

NOTE:

 It has come to our attention that some people who attended the meeting had not signed up on the site.  There were also email addresses from those who mailed their dues. If you completed a form at the meeting but didn’t also signup or update your information on the website your updates were delayed. We are currently going through all of the paperwork and will be sending an email to those we may have missed.
